Add a New Non-EXE Application

You can add a non-exe application to an MSIX package point to one the following file formats: .bat, .cmd, .txt, .html, and .docx.

To create a non-exe application:

1. Navigate to the Applications view under the Application Properties menu.

   The Applications page opens.

2. Right-click on the Applications node, and then select Add Application (non-exe) from the context menu.

   

   The Non-Exe Application Properties Configuration view opens.

3. Enter the details in the respective fields and then click the Update button. For more information on Applications properties, see Applications View.

   

4. Click Save or Save As in the ribbon for the change to take effect.
